My name is Faith and I am a Lead Mentor for EOP at San Francisco State University. I am a Filipina and was born and raised right here in SF - As a first generation college student, I understand the difficulty that comes with our experiences as we try to navigate higher education. As your mentor, my objective is to guide you in the right direction and do the best that I can to support you. My ultimate goal as your mentor is to make sure that you know that you are cared for not only as a scholar but also as a person. I am here to listen and guide you the best way that I can. I am grateful and excited to be placed in a position that allows me with the opportunity to be a part of your journey here at SFSU.

Hi yall! I am excited to be your EOP Peer Mentor! I am from SoCal excited to be here at SF State. I am double majoring in Latina/Latino Studies and Broadcast Electronic Communication Arts. I want to be a documentarian and tell our stories. After that I hope to become a teacher and teach videography and Ethnic Studies. I am also excited to help you navigate your journey here at SF State.

I'm a San Francisco native and transfer student from City College of San Francisco. Most importantly as a first generation college student, want to start new generational traditions. I'm majoring in Social Work and I am currently in my senior year of completing my BASW. I love helping others and have a passionate about the criminal justice system and prison reform. Lastly I am also the mother of three beautiful little boys.

Hello! My name is Jess and I will be your new Lead Mentor and an Ambassador for the Guardian Scholars Program. I am excited to work with you all. My major is Creative Writing, so I love writing poetry. I also love singing and dancing to Latin music.
