Hi, my name is Diego, I am a 2nd year here at SF State, majoring in Business Management with an interest in Kinesiology. I'm from Rialto, CA in SoCal (8 hours away from San Francisco). I am currently a commuter student who loves being on campus. I am thrilled to be working as a lead mentor for EOP to support you in any way I can through your college journey. Alexandra Andrade

Hello! My name is Alexandra Andrade, but you can call me Alex. I am a 3rd year pre-nursing major from Los Angeles, CA. I am Mexican/Salvadorean. This is my first year working as a lead mentor and I am super excited to get to work with all of you this academic year. I currently work as an RA and live on campus, so I spend a lot of time here. :) Feel free to reach out to me via Teams or stop by during my office hours if you have any questions or just want to chat. Hola Tod@s! This is my second year as a Peer Mentor and I am excited to meet and work with you :) I am a First Gen student from Orange, CA and this is my 4th and final year at SF State. My major is Latina/o Studies and Media Literacy Minor. I lived on campus my second and third year and I now live off campus in the city and want to stay in the city for a good while. Some advice: Enjoy your years of undergrad and get involved on campus. This is the perfect time to meet lifelong friends and make memories! Ask me how to get involved, I would love to help! Some of my interests include 90's/80's rock music, movies, crochet, wine, cherries, pool, and coffee.

During my first year, I commuted every day on BART and reached out to as many student organizations as possible: Latinx Film Club, Latinx Queer Club, MELA because I wanted to be a part of the school community. In my second year, I started working with EOP as a Peer Mentor and became more affiliated with the Latinx Queer Club. I lived on campus and had to learn a work, school, and social balance. Some of my interests include photography, singing, writing, painting, drawing, and music. My favorite genre is R&B Soul.
